We travel for specialist and bespoke jobs for clients, and supply timber flooring throughout New Zealand.
Meet Our Team
Stephen has been in the Wood Floor Business for over 30 years, with a wealth of experience in refurbishing wood floors, and custom finishing and special effects. With his team, he has crafted a large number of timber floors in the Wanaka region, over 20 years. He worked on many projects in Wellington, including Government Buildings, Embassy Houses, and Te Papa, prior to moving to Wanaka. He keeps current with all the latest technology and industry trends via Domotex and NWFA in Asia, Europe or USA, and ATFA within New Zealand.
After a corporate and sport management background, Libby has worked full-time in the ever-growing family business for the past six years, now as Business Manager and H&S.
Tess has joined our team as our showroom manager, managing sales, scheduling and your project through to the final beautiful result. Her years of study in law and quick uptake, combined with a flair for design make her ideal in this role.
A very experienced qualified timber flooring installer and finisher, Ben originally trained in England, prior to joining our team in Wanaka ten years ago, now as a contractor.
German trained, Max is a qualified master craftsman in timber floors. Joining us three years ago, he is now an integral part of our team.
Ryan is well through his apprenticeship in floor finishing after three years with us. He is an asset to our team learning his trade on the sanders.
Steve has worked with us for the past few years, and completed his adult apprenticeship after changing careers from mountain guiding. He now combines the two and brings a wealth of practical can do to our team.
Completing his BCITO Floor Installer apprenticeship with Wanaka Wood Floors, Jack is now studying architecture in Auckland, but rejoins our team during study breaks.
With a building background, Josh has quickly picked up the details of timber flooring installing, under the guidance of his team leader. Diligent and a great team member.
We are joined on a regular basis by a number of skilled locals contractors, who work with us on special projects, or when their other specialist jobs allow them. We have a very varied depth of skills within this crew, from builders to film makers and snowsport specialists.
